Scholarships
Prospective and current students in the Human Nutrition & Foods Program have opportunities for various kinds of financial aid from a variety of sources. Eligibility for loans, grants, scholarships, and work-study opportunities can be pursued not only outside the University, but also from West Virginia University itself and its various colleges & divisions. The Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resource and Design, the Animal & Nutritional Sciences Division, and the Human Nutrition & Foods Programs have several endowed and nonendowed scholarships available to qualified students.
Scholarships that are unique to students in the Human Nutrition & Foods Program are:
American Dietetic Association Scholarship. Scholarships are awarded annually at the discretion of the organization.
Sarah Protzman Arbruckle Human Nutrition & Foods Scholarship. Preference will be given to students identified for aid through the WVU Scholars Program who also meet the requirements of this fund. The recipients shall be U.S. citizens who are regularly enrolled undergraduate students majoring in Human Nutrition and Foods in the Division of Animal & Nutritional Sciences of the WVU Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources & Design. The recipients shall have a) demonstrated need for financial assistance and b) academic promise as determined by the Office of Student Financial Aid and the College.
WV Dietetic Association Scholarship. Scholarships are awarded annually at the discretion of the organization.
